Miriam "started off my fitness journey as a student, then a friend of mine told me I should be an instructor. I had been certified to teach Zumba at one point but I never had the opportunity to use it, I was nervous. Years later I got certified to teach Dance2fit and I began teaching in Flower Mound at the Trietsch sports ministry center. I then became a sub at Thrive and I’ve been here ever since! Teaching my fitness class is the one moment of my day that there is no judgment, no rules and no stress allowed. We share stories, journeys, successes, and defeats together. We encourage one another to be a better version of ourselves and that’s why I do it." Miriam is also a diehard Eagles fan!

Janet Moore: Evening Aerobics
I have been working for the YMCA as a Fitness Instructor since mid-1999. My first job was as Aerobics Instructor for the Lewisville Senior Center, in a joint partnership between the two entities. Over the years I have acquired several fitness certifications but find I am better equipped to revert back to the "old school" aerobics classes of the 1980's period.
